Assessment and Evaluation

Assessment and Evaluation PDF Print E-mail

Assessment and evaluation of programs, services and resources in Campus Life is a critical component of the important work of the division. A representative from each department serves on the Campus Life Assessment and Evaluation Committee. Each department defined learning outcomes for their programs, services and resources, and the measurement of these learning outcomes is the primary focus of assessment initiatives within the division. In addition to learning outcomes being studied this year (listed below), each department in Campus Life is actively engaged in other assessment and evaluation activities ranging from collating accurate metrics, such as the number of volunteer hours donated by students participating in a service program, to understanding how a particular program improves student learning.
