    Questions From Past Discussions

Both of you had a non-typical entrance into Student Affairs. Should I go do a MA in Student Affairs to work my up or do non-traditional routes still get considered?

    • If you know that you would like to go directly into Student Affairs, a MA in Student Affairs is the best way. Non-traditional routes still get considered since a majority of people get into Student Affairs through non-traditional routes. Sarah took a non-traditional route from teaching, admissions office, program coordinator, program director, assistant dean, to dean.

Where did they receive their graduate degrees? What is the name of their graduate programs?
