The Dean of Students and Associate Deans are available to meet with students to help them navigate their college experience. In many cases, the Deans will introduce or refer students to university services that directly address their questions, needs, and interests. Please email deanofstudents@byu.edu or call (801) 422-2731 to set up a meeting with one of the deans.

International Student Deposits

International students who have specific questions about their International Student Deposit, how it may be used while at BYU, and how it will be returned after graduation may meet with an Associate Dean to address their concerns.

Emergencies and Accidents

Students who have had an accident or experienced a crisis can contact the Dean of Students Office for assistance. The Deans Office will help contact on-campus employers and/or professors to inform them of the accident, work with employers and professors to meet student needs, and put students in touch with needed services.

Application to Demonstrate

The Dean of Students Office may schedule a meeting with the requester (and a representative from the sponsoring BYU organization(s), if applicable) to consult on details and review the proposal.

Only current students, faculty, administrative employees, and staff may organize or attend a demonstration if approved.
